Mefiag Filters & Pumps is a world leader in the development, manufacture and supply of corrosion resistant filters and pumps used primarily in the plating and metal finishing industries. Founded in The Netherlands in 1953, Mefiag built its first filter unit for the electroplating industry almost 60 years ago. Today, a large variety of filters and pumps are also available for other applications including the automotive, construction and sanitary industries.
Mefiag’s complete line of filters – horizontal disc, cartridge, bag, carbon, and oil absorbing – are available in single chamber capacities ranging from 40 to 90,000 liters per hour. Materials of construction include rubber-lined, polypropylene, CPVC, PVC and stainless steel. Mefiag also offers corrosion resistant FRP, polypropylene and PVDF pumps in standard end suction and optional magnetic drive and self-priming configurations.

custom made filter units, Mefiag has now grown to include three production units around the world. Mefiag B.V. employs 50 people at our headquarters in Heerenveen, The Netherlands. Mefiag Division, in Owosso, Michigan, USA, has 10 employees, and Mefiag Guangzhou Filter Systems Ltd., our production unit in Guangzhou, the People’s Republic of China, has 12 people working for you. Mefiag’s distribution network includes over 150 distributors and OEMs in more than 50 countries.
